  In response to Chantelle, extremely disappointed you have left this review when you seem to be a little confused. Never did we say, nor is it on your invoice stating that your drive belt was replaced during your service. You were not charged for a drive belt nor were you charged any labour for a belt replacement, so I simply do not understand what you are saying. When you came in the second time I showed you the belt in question (while you were still there) and pointed out that there were no obvious signs of excessive wear to the belt, there were zero cracks (which is why your belt was not replaced), there was no reason the belt did what it did.

  Belmont Automotive has been operating for 30+ years with a database of 100's of very happy customers, and I would assume that if we are 'backyard bogans' as Sam Smith indicated, we would have been out of business a very very long time ago. Yes we are a small mechanical workshop and yes we don't have the big flashy sign out front, but we are a fully licensed repairer having memberships with the RMS, MTA and IAME, our technicians are fully qualified, we take our work seriously and professionally, our workshop is always clean, we provide a personal and a caring touch and have always stayed up with the latest in scan tool technology. So to be labelled as "boguns" is insulting

  said they was great .On arrive with my car I found the staff wonderful a young lady greeted me and was very helpful . Made me fill that may car was in very safe hands , when picking my car up after it was finished the staff was all so great explaned to me what they had done in away I could under stand , the staff where great and what work that was done to my car was out standing . Would like to thank all of staff at Belmont Automotive for their work . I will be back Thank you so much

  Good, honest service with reasonable pricing. Brent was transparent and accommodated all my requests with a tailored service. There weren't any "surprise" costs on the invoice - something I really appreciate. My car runs smooth and feels well looked after. I shall return to this workshop at the next service. I recommend this service centre to other customers.

  I brought my car in 3 weeks ago for a service and inspection. I was told everything was great....three weeks later my car plays up and I bring it back. My alternator belt was ripped into strings (also was a brand new belt that THEY put on)

  In response to Sam Smith, I am the owner/manager of Belmont Automotive Service Centre and have at no stage received a complaint from one of our customers advising us about damage to their console or cigarette burns in their seat. We also have no record of a customer named "Sam Smith", nor have I ever heard of this person. I can therefore only assume that the review left by "Sam Smith" is bogus and completely out of order. Furthermore I am a non-smoker, and under no circumstances are any of our staff allowed to smoke in or near our customers cars, or anywhere on the premises for that matter.
